Message: Happy Mother’s Day to all Our Mothers

Adam named his wife Eve, because she would become the mother of all the living. Gen 3:20 NIV

The Bible has much to say about mothers, some of whom we get thrilled studying about and some we despise such as Herodias; however, there are more mothers with a good positive image than a distasteful one.

Eve, the mother of all living was deceived and I am sure she regretted it every single day she lived on this earth, but she could not change what she had done.  Grace began to work for her, and in her, and she began to bare children that would populate this entire universe.  It all began with Eve, when Adam called her, “Eve the mother of all living.” She is still the mother of all living.  Every human being on this earth is the off spring of Adam and Eve who is the off spring of God.

Think about how wise God is, He created male and female and made us in His image and His likeness.  We know right away that our Father God is not some weird looking Spirit because He made us beautiful.  We should never be critical or faultfinding with ourselves or degrade ourselves, because we are made in His in His image and His likeness.

When a mother gives birth to a baby she doesn’t say I wish he would look better than that; how can she say such a thing the baby looks just like the parents.  You can’t change genes.  No, mothers gently take their babies in their arms, showing much love and affection, from this point they develop a wonderful relationship that no one can separate.  Where did a mother learn all of this?  From God Himself, He taught Eve how to be a mother, she didn’t know what to do, but the creator of it all taught her step by step and it was passed down to us.

To enhance our ability to be a good mother we must develop our relationship with the Father God and He will show us how to be fruitful mothers from start to finish. Our families can be a picture of blessings.  Mothers are the ones who cause her family to shine bright,  She prays in the home and God’s presence is manifested continuously. Through this manifestation of the presence of God, the husband can do his job better and provide for his family maximally.  The family is one big unit in love with God and each other.

Mothers don’t neglect your ordained role as a wife, mother, friend, sister and confidant.

May we as mothers ever live in this Psalm 112, the benefits are ours to enjoy.

Praise the Lord.  Blessed is the man (women) who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands.  His  (her) children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his (their) house, and his (their)righteousness endures forever.  Psalm 112:1-3 NIV
