Message: "Happy Mother's Day"

Dear Mother’s:

Grace be to you, and peace, from God our Father, and from the Lord Jesus Christ.

Praise God for His abundant love and mercy.  What an honor it is to greet you again at this special time.  God has placed us here for such a time as this; so many things are happening, too many changes to comment on, but one thing is sure and certain, God will never change. “Jesus Christ the same, yesterday, today and forever.” Heb 13:8.

We can rest in His love and confidence; He will do what He said.  God’s love is so comforting and protecting regardless of the changes we see taking place in our natural world.  If you are like me sometimes you just wish you could have skipped this part of our existence here on earth, but God knows what we are capable of enduring and overcoming, that is why He chose to have us here at this time.  We can cling to and embrace all of His promises; they will always come true in our lives if we trust the One Who said it.  Look at the Psalmist, he is  speaking of a mighty deliverance and a quick get away from the enemy.

“If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, now may Israel say; If it had not been the LORD who was on our side, when men rose up against us: Then they had swallowed us up quick, when their wrath was kindled against us: Then the waters had overwhelmed us, the stream had gone over our soul: Then the proud waters had gone over our soul. Blessed be the LORD, who hath not given us as a prey to their teeth.  Our soul is escaped as a bird out of the snare of the fowlers: the snare is broken, and we are escaped.  Our Help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.” Psalm 124

We don’t have to rant and rave about the unbelievers; we just stand our ground for sound biblical principles and live by them.  We do have a say in this nation and in our community, it is through prayer.  We have weaponry which is prayer that is most effective anytime day or night.  It helps us to be identified with the righteous One and the enemy cannot hurt us.

Let us take a moment to do some soul searching and whatever adjustments need to be made, let’s make them quickly and go on with Jesus to win every victory in His name.   Through Jesus we can win every invisible battle; let’s make the change, Amen?

Happy Mother’s Day
