Everyone wants to be a success. Here are three simple yet Powerful rules that will help you Live a successful Christian Life.
Praise the Lord precious saint of the Living God. It is so good for us to come together for another session on this very important subject. I spent the last two sessions discussing the various aspects of forgiveness.
The First rule for Successful Christian Living is: “You must Learn to Forgive.” The Second rule is “You Must Learn to Forget.”
Remember, Ephesians 4:32 says, “And be ye kind one to another, tender hearted, forgiving one another, EVEN AS GOD FOR CHRIST’S SAKE HATH FORGIVEN YOU.” According to this verse, how are we supposed to forgive? Even as God for Christ’s sake forgives us.
Well, how does God forgive? Isaiah 43:25 tells us: “I (God), even I, am he that blotteth out thy transgressions for mine own sake, and WILL NOT REMEMBER thy sins.”
Here is a second witness, Jeremiah 31:34 tells us: “And they shall teach no more his neighbor, and every man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for they shall know me, from the least to the greatest of them, saith the Lord: for I will forgive their iniquity, AND I WILL REMEMBER THEIR SIN NO MORE.”
Here is a third witness, Hebrews 10:17 says: “And their sins and iniquities will I remember no more.” Amen!
God forgives and forgets. God says He will not remember your sins. Now the devil may bring a picture of your past to you, but you can just refuse to remember it.
Paul said in Philippians 3:13 an 14, Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.”
We are to forget those things which are behind. We know that we are able to forget because God will never tell us to do something that we couldn’t do. And God told us to forgive the way He forgives. God not only forgives – He forgets!
Word for Today: Power of Blessings
And God “Blessed” them and said, “Be Fruitful, and Multiply, and Replenish the Earth and Subdue It.” This means they had the Power of the Blessing to be Fruitful. They were empowered to produce in great quantities, copiousness and so on. God gave man His Word, “Be Fruitful.” He gave man the Power to be Fruitful. He gave man the Authority to be Fruitful. He gave man the Ability to be Fruitful. He gave man the Responsibility to be Fruitful. He gave man the permission to be Fruitful. God has anointed us to be Fruitful because of the Blessing in our lives. God expects us to be Fruitful.
