Simple Rules for Success Part 4

Everyone wants to be a success. Here are three simple yet Powerful rules that will help you Live a successful Christian Life.

Praise the Lord.  I greet your O precious Saint in the name of Jesus Christ.  The last three weeks I discussed with you two of the three rules for “Successful Christian Living.”  The First rule is “You Must Learn to Forgive.”  The Second rule is “You Must Learn to Forget.”

The Third rule for a Successful Christian Life, you must learn the “Secret of Faith.”  In other words you must learn how to believe.  The classic text for this rule is Mark 11:23 and 24.

MARK 11:23, 24

For verily I (Jesus) say unto you, That whosoever shall Say unto this mountain, Be though removed, and be tough cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall Believe that those things which he Saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he Saith.

24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, Believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.

Notice that the word “pray” is not mentioned in verse 23, but the word “say” is mentioned.  So then we know that faith works by saying it even without praying it.  We know that faith also works by praying it because verse 24 says, “…What things soever you desire, when ye PRAY BELIEVE that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.”

Learn this:  Faith will work by saying it without praying it.  And it will also work by praying it (actually, when you pray, you are still saying it).

As a pastor, I have experienced time and time again, I cannot over ride what another person is confessing.  I can share the Word of God with them.  I can teach that person the principles of faith.  I can pray for them.  But I cannot change what they are confessing.  They have to do it themselves.  What I have also learned that you can locate a person faith level by what they are confessing.

In Healing School I have learned an important lesson, as I minister divine healing to the sick, that person must believe the Word of God for themselves, and confess it.  Their confession must line up with the Word of God.  If those individuals wants to die; and that is what they confessing, I cannot over ride what they are confessing.  What a person believe, is exactly what they will say.

Start a life of success with God today.  Learn to forgive; learn to forget; and learn how to believe what God’s Word says.  God Word will work for you if you are a believer.  And if you are Born Again, you are a believer.  Make this your confession:  I am not a doubter.  I am a believer.  And God’s Word works for me!”

Word for Today:  Your Mission

The term “Mission Statement” is a familiar part of our modern vocabulary.  2,000 years ago, Jesus modeled this key to successful leadership. He knew His mission and never deviated from it. During a test in the wilderness, Jesus was presented with three opportunities that would have diverted Him from His mission — opportunities that seemed to promise a shortcut to gratification.  He wisely refused them.  So let me ask you this question, “Do you have a clear articulated mission?  Are you willing to say “no” to appealing distractions on the way to fulfilling it?”
