The Hour of No Impossibility Part 5
“ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE TO HIM THAT BELIEVETH.” Mark 9:23 KJV
Jesus said it. And with our heads, we believe it’s true. If we’re honest, however, we have to admit that for most of us the impossible all too often remains … the impossible.
But, my dear Brothers and Sisters, hold on to your seats because that is about to change.
Now, let’s go ahead and step into the land of no impossibilities.
Towards the end of last week ‘s lesson I was sharing something else you need to stir up in your faith for in this hour. You need to believe that those impossible people would be saved! You know the people I’m talking about. They’re the people who have resisted God successfully for so long you’ve given up on them. This is the hour when those same people shall be saved. Amen!
It’s a Scriptural fact that when it comes to salvation, some people are practically impossible cases. For example, here is what Jesus said about the rich young ruler:
24 … how hard it is for them that trust in riches enter into the Kingdom of God!
25 For it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of God.
26 And they were astonished out of measure, saying among themselves, who then can be saved?
27 And Jesus looking upon them saith, with men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.
Material wealth offers false fulfillment to people that almost always prevents them from coming to God. But in these last days, we are going to see wealthy people come into the Kingdom of God.
We’re going to see other seemingly impossible people come to Jesus as well. We’ll see criminals, and gang leaders. We’ll see Islamics and Hindus. We’ll see entire cities won to the Lord just as the city of Samaria was in the Book of Acts.
In every family we have uncles, aunts, and cousins, who seems so harden to God that you cannot come up with any way to reach them. But dearly beloved don’t you give up on them. You know what will happen? One day you will look up there they are in Church getting saved. Then you will join the rest of us in saying, “The Impossible happened today!”
Listen to me, I want you to start praying for those relatives and friends you’ve given up on. Turn in your Bibles to Psalm 2:8 to where God says, “Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for mine inheritance…” and write the names of those people there. Then every time you turn there say “Father, these are my possessions. These are the heathen and they are mine in the name of Jesus.”
And you know what is going to happen? Someday soon, you’ll be calling someone, you’ll be testifying saying, “The most impossible thing has happened today. So, and so got saved, Praise the Lord!”
Word for Today: "Point of Action"
In the book of James, we’re told that “faith” without corresponding action is dead. No one wants to follow someone who is all talk. But people will follow a Person of Action every time. My question of the day for you is, “Do the people around you see you as a doer – A Person of Action?”
