"The Working Of Miracles"

A true miracle is a divine intervention in the ordinary course of nature that can't be explained in the natural, and God may choose to work one through you!

Now concerning spiritual gifts, brethren, I would not have you ignorant…

But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal. For to one is given by the Spirit the Word of Wisdom; to another the Word of Knowledge by the same Spirit;

To another Faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of Healing by the same Spirit;

To another THE WORKING OF MIRACLES; to another Prophecy; to another Discerning of Spirits; to another Divers Kinds of Tongues; to another the Interpretation of Tongues:

But all these worketh that one and selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.- I Corinthians 12:1, 7-11

The Apostle Paul said in First Corinthians 12:1 that he would not have us "ignorant" of spiritual things. So, I will be teaching of the "Power" Gifts of the Spirit in this bulletin.

I believe that a scriptural understanding of these gifts and their individual operations can help us as we eagerly desire to be used as vessels of the Holy Spirit's gifts.

By way of an overview, please allow me to explain that the nine gifts listed in I Corinthians 12: 8-10 are often divided into three separate categories, because they naturally seem to fit there. The three revelation gifts reveal something; they are the Word of Wisdom, the Word of Knowledge, and the Discerning of Spirits.

The difference between the Word of Knowledge and the Word of Wisdom is that the Word of Knowledge has to do with a past or present condition. It reveals something that has previously happened or is happening at the moment. The Word of Wisdom, on the other hand, makes known something in the future, because it has to do with the plan and purpose of God. And when the Discerning of Spirits is in operation, it allows supernatural insight or the ability to visibly "See" into the spirit realm.

The next category is the vocal gifts - Prophecy, Tongues, and the Interpretation of Tongues. These are the Spiritual gifts that say something. However, at this season it seems good to the Holy Ghost and myself to share about what is known or called the "Power" gifts, they do something. The three power gifts include the Gift of Faith, the Working of Miracles, and the Gifts (plural) of Healing.

Few people start a venture with the goal of staying small and ineffective.  No, God made us to desire growth. He constructed us with a desire to achieve.  In fact, the very first marching orders mankind received from God  was a mandate to generate increase.  My question for today is, “Are you merely hoping for increase, or are you Taking the necessary Steps to make it happen?”
