" Women - Wife - Mother"
The Woman
Every woman, whether single, married, or divorced, can profit from a study of what the Word of God has to say on the subject of Woman, Wife, and Mother. If you are single now, perhaps you will be involved as a wife and a mother some day. If not, you still minister to others by gaining knowledge on the topic. Counseling and a lot of excellent materials are available on this important subject. It is thrilling and beautiful when women get the revelation that God created them exactly the way they are, beautiful and in His image, it will answer a lot of questions. And as you learn these wonderful truths, you in turn will pass it on to the next generation.
The second chapter of Genesis gives us insight into the creation of woman. I believe by studying this portion of Scripture, women will be thrilled when they see that God saw fit to create them women.
Genesis 2: 7-8 (Amp)
7 Then the Lord God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath or spirit of life; and man became a living being.
8 And the Lord God planted a garden toward the east of Eden (meaning delight); and there He put the man whom He had formed (framed constituted).
Genesis 2:18 (Amp)
18 Now the Lord God said It is not good (sufficient, satisfactory) that the man should be alone; I will make him a help meet (suitable, adapted, completing) for him.
The Scripture goes on to tell how God formed the animals and beasts and let Adam name them. But God still saw that for Adam there was not a helper who was adaptable, suitable, and completing for him.
So in Genesis 2:21-25 we are told:
Genesis 2:21-24 (Amp)
21 And the Lord God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and while he slept He took one of his ribs – a part of his side – and closed up the (place with) flesh instead of it;
22 And the rib or part of his side which the Lord God had taken from the man, He built up and made into a woman and brought her to the man.
23 Then Adam said, This (creature) is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh. She shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of a man.
24 Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and shall become united and cleave to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.
I want to lay a foundation, so you can see some differences between man and woman. Genesis 2:7 tells us God formed man. In the original Hebrew, one definition of formed is “squeezed together.” That is why man many times, appears rugged.
But in verse 22, we are told that God Created woman, the Hebrew means “Skillfully and carefully handcrafted.” God made woman in such a manner that she would be admired and desired. God said the woman is to be a helper meet. Helper means, to give aid or assistance.
Once you’ve accepted yourself as a woman, you should be proud to know your creator saw fit to create you. He saw that you could flow and walk in that to perfection. God sees all of His creation good and perfect.
As you walk in perfection in being a helper meet, and be of assistance to your husband, he will cleave to you. He will always desire to have you with him.

Word for Today: Speaking Right
Influence is something all of us could use more of. Influence gives you the ability to guide your children away from pitfalls and destructive behavior. It gives you leverage on the job. And it helps you make your community a better place to live. But if you want to wield more influence, you’re going to have to become a better communicator. The Book of Proverbs says, “Righteous lips are the delight of Kings; and they love him that Speaketh Right.” That means, the key to having positive influence with others lies one inch below your nose. Do the words you speak enhance your influence?
